Therefore, if your hCG beta value is between the minimum and the maximum value of hCG listed in the table for a given day, probably all goes well.
At 3500 mIU / ml and you should see the gestational sac if you do an ultrasound. With 17,700 mIU / ml you will see the yolk sac and from 47,700 mIU / ml, you can see the embryo.
However, remember that what matters is not a single value of beta hCG at a given moment, but the doubling time or the rate of increase in the concentration of the hormone between two consecutive measurements.
Doctors take as a criterion the hCG doubling time, which is the time it takes to double the hormone concentration in maternal blood. The first days of pregnancy, that time is very short, 48 hours or less and then it gets slower and slower until week 7th or 9th of pregnancy.
